3689) Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D and 3D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Develop mechanical components, assemblies and detailed drawings.
• Create 3D models, assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs and design documentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and other departments for design requirements.
• Make design modifications based on manufacturing and quality requirements.
• Support prototype development and product improvement activities.
• Ensure designs meet required technical specifications and standards.

Required Skills

• B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant design experience.
• Hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
