Job Summary
The Store Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and spare parts. The role ensures inventory accuracy and timely availability of materials for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality with Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Issue materials against approved Material Requisition Notes (MRN).
- Maintain stock registers and ERP/Excel inventory records.
- Conduct daily, monthly, and annual physical stock verification.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department for material shortages.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping.
- Prepare stock reports, inventory aging reports, and slow/non-moving inventory reports.
- Handle material transfers between units.
- Maintain records of scrap, rejected, and damaged materials.

The Purchase Executive is responsible for procuring materials, consumables, services, and equipment required for production and operations at the best quality, price, and delivery schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive Purchase Requisitions (PR) from departments.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Stores for GRN and material receipt.
- Coordinate with Quality for inspection of purchased materials.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding shortages, quality, or delays.
- Prepare purchase reports and cost-saving analysis.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies.
- Coordinate with Accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
