3685) Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily Press Shop production activities.
• Plan and achieve production targets as per schedule.
• Manage manpower, machines, materials and production priorities.
• Handle mechanical, hydraulic and power press operations.
• Monitor productivity, OEE, rejection, rework and material utilization.
• Ensure proper die setting, die changeover and press machine operation.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Tool Room and Stores departments.
• Ensure products are manufactured as per drawings and quality standards.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, TPM and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor machine downtime and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdown resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and shop-floor standards.
• Prepare daily/monthly production reports and monitor key performance indicators.
• Train and guide supervisors, operators and production team members.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Press Shop / Sheet Metal manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of press machines, dies and sheet metal processes.
• Good knowledge of production planning and manpower management.
• Experience in handling production targets, quality and productivity.
• Knowledge of OEE, 5S, Kaizen, TPM and Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
