3650) Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory machinery and equipment.
Attend mechanical and electrical breakdowns promptly to minimise production downtime.
Maintain motors, pumps, compressors, panels, machines and other production equipment.
Inspect and maintain electrical wiring, switches, contactors, relays, sensors and control panels.
Perform basic mechanical work involving bearings, belts, chains, couplings, gearboxes and lubrication.
Identify breakdown causes and take corrective action.
Follow preventive-maintenance schedules and maintain daily maintenance records.
Maintain required spares, tools and consumable lists.
Coordinate with machine operators, Production and external service providers.
Support machine installation, shifting and commissioning activities.
Follow all electrical, mechanical and workplace safety requirements.
Maintain proper housekeeping in maintenance and utility areas.

Candidate Requirements

ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Fitter, Electrician or a related trade.
Preferably 1–3 years of factory maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Ability to use maintenance tools and electrical measuring instruments.
Experience in an engineering or manufacturing company will be preferred.
Should be willing to attend urgent breakdowns and work in shifts when required.
Must be responsible, safety-conscious and capable of working independently.
Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also apply.
