Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
- Plan and achieve daily production targets as per schedule.
- Allocate manpower and monitor operator performance.
- Ensure production as per quality, quantity, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, rejection, and rework.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, and other departments.
- Identify production issues and take corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to work instructions, SOPs, and process standards.
- Maintain daily production reports and MIS.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with Stores/PPC.
- Implement 5S, safety, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Train and guide operators and shop-floor workers.
- Ensure safe working practices and discipline on the shop floor.
