3642) Junior Mechanical Draughtsman

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings for electric motors.
• Create component, assembly and manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare machining drawings with dimensions, tolerances and required technical details.
• Develop drawings for jigs, fixtures, tools and production aids.
• Modify and update existing drawings as per design and production requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing numbers, revisions and technical records.
• Coordinate with the Design, Production, Quality and Machine Shop teams.
• Take actual component measurements and prepare drawings when required.
• Support new product development and manufacturing improvement activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is compulsory.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and machining processes.
• Knowledge of electric motors or rotating electrical machines will be an advantage.
• Should be willing to work closely with the factory and production teams.
• Must be sincere, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
