3614) Senior Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee our daily accounting operations and manage monthly financial closures. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient in ERP and Focus software, and possess a strong understanding of taxation (GST/TDS) and banking reconciliations.

Daily Responsibilities

• Record and manage daily bank entries for all payments and receipts within the ERP system.
• Process and pass accurate accounting entries for debit and credit notes in the ERP.
• Record and track all daily expense entries systematically.

Monthly Responsibilities

• Reconcile Prompt and Eetamax ledgers to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare, organize, and compile TDS and GST data for timely submission to the external Chartered Accountant.
• Pass all necessary TDS and GST accounting entries in both Focus and ERP software.
• Prepare the sundry debtors analysis report and proactively follow up with the sales team to ensure timely recovery.
• Prepare the monthly commission calculation report for RVB.
• Generate and submit accurate monthly stock statements for Bank Cash Credit (CC) facilities.
• Investigate, resolve, and clear any suspense account discrepancies during the Bank Reconciliation process.
• Reconcile all Bank Loan accounts.
• Process and pass monthly salary and payroll entries in Focus and ERP.
• Update and maintain the cashflow forecast sheet to assist management with financial planning.

Candidate Requirements

• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and Focus accounting software.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of statutory compliances (TDS, GST), ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting.
