3597) Estimation & Costing Engineer

📝 Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for conveyor systems, conveyor chains, sprockets, and related equipment.
• Study customer enquiries, tender documents, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Calculate material requirements, manufacturing costs, machining costs, bought-out items, labour, and overheads.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, and Sales departments to gather technical and commercial inputs.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and costing sheets for new projects.
• Obtain supplier quotations and evaluate the best commercial options.
• Analyse production costs and recommend cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain updated cost databases for raw materials, fabrication, machining, and purchased components.
• Support the Sales team by preparing techno-commercial offers and tender submissions.
• Monitor project cost variations and prepare revised estimates when required.
• Ensure timely submission of quotations and maintain proper documentation.
