Job Purpose
To support preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for fabrication and manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum machine availability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Activities
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules for fabrication and production equipment.
- Attend machine breakdowns and support troubleshooting activities.
- Assist in predictive maintenance programs and machine health monitoring.
- Ensure timely restoration of equipment to minimize downtime.

- Drill Machines
- Plasma Cutting Machine
- Welding Systems – Column Boom SAW, Pannel Welding, MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored, Laser Welding
- Pipe / Pannel Bending Machine
- STBW
- Leth Machine
- HBM – Horrizental Boring Machine
- Hydraulic Presses
- Paint Shop Equipment
- Compressors and Utilities
- Material Handling Systems
- DG Sets and Electrical Systems
- Crane Systems
- Documentation
- Maintain maintenance records and checklists.
- Update machine history cards and downtime reports.
- Support spare parts inventory management.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow plant safety standards and maintenance SOPs.
- Ensure proper Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance work.
- Maintain housekeeping in maintenance areas.
- Continuous Improvement
- Participate in TPM, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to reduce machine downtime.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of PLCs is an added advantage.
- MS Excel and maintenance reporting.
