📌Position Summary
The Senior Quality Manager will lead the complete Quality function for Injection Moulded and Painted Automotive Plastic Components. The role ensures strong process control, customer satisfaction, supplier performance, audit compliance, and continuous improvement across moulding and paint shop operations.
🔧Key Responsibilities
A. Customer Quality Management
• Act as the primary interface for all customer quality requirements.
• Lead customer complaint analysis and closure using structured problem-solving.
• Ensure timely PPAP/ISIR submissions and audit compliance.
• Drive corrective & preventive action (CAPA) closure.
B. In-House Quality – Injection Moulding
• Ensure strict adherence to approved moulding parameters.
• Oversee first-off approvals and in-process inspections.
• Coordinate with Production/Tooling/Maintenance for process stability.
• Ensure dimensional, functional & visual quality compliance.
C. In-House Quality – Painting
• Monitor paint shop SOPs and WI compliance.
• Control critical painting parameters to ensure finish quality.
• Approve first-off painted components and validate in-process checks.
• Maintain consistent paint quality through cross-functional coordination.
D. Incoming Quality & Supplier Quality
• Lead IQC for raw materials, chemicals, packaging & components.
• Conduct supplier audits and monitor performance KPIs.
• Drive corrective actions and ensure specification compliance.
E. Quality Systems & Compliance (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001)
• Maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, SOPs, MSA, calibration & documentation.
• Ensure audit readiness and timely NC closure.
• Strengthen documentation, discipline, and traceability across operations.
F. New Product Development (APQP / PPAP)
• Participate in DFM/A, process planning & tool readiness.
• Prepare APQP/PPAP documentation.
• Support trials, validation and new product launch.
G. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
• Drive quality improvements in Injection Moulding & Paint Shop.
• Reduce rejection & rework; improve FPY.
• Implement Poka-Yoke, SPC, Lean tools & visual controls.
H. Team Leadership & Training
• Lead and mentor the QA/QC teams.
• Train teams in inspection, metrology, documentation & SOP adherence.
• Strengthen quality culture across departments.
