Key Responsibilities
- Monitor in-process and final product quality as per specifications.
- Perform inspection using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and documentation.
- Identify process/product defects and coordinate corrective actions.
- Work with Production and Tool Room teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and process deviations.
- Ensure compliance with control plans, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections where required.
- Maintain quality records and support internal/customer audits.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection and improve quality.
Required Skills
✔ Good knowledge of automobile manufacturing quality processes
✔ Knowledge of measuring instruments and engineering drawings
✔ Control Plan and inspection documentation
✔ Basic knowledge of RCA, CAPA, 7 QC tools
✔ Good communication and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to coordinate with production and other departments.
