3407 ) Refrigeration Plant Operator

📌Responsibilities include:

1. Routine maintenance: Performing regular checks and inspections on refrigeration equipment as per checklist and maintenance schedule
2. ⁠Troubleshooting:  Diagnosing issues and fixing them as they arise
3. ⁠Equipment operation:  Ensuring equipment is operating at the correct capacity
4. ⁠Safety:  Adhering to company safety rules and regulations
5. ⁠Training :  Participating in department training
6. ⁠Teamwork:  Assisting other personnel with their duties
7. ⁠Reporting:  Developing proper reports and records and report any abnormalities to higher authorities.
8. ⁠Maintain minimum stock of consumables and spares
9. ⁠Adherence to procedures as per equipment manufacturer manual and/ or departmental manual
10. ⁠Check and maintain PPEs in a good working condition and document the works done
11. ⁠Good Housekeeping in refrigeration plant and oil storage area and control room.
12. ⁠Train refrigeration plant helper in safety related to plant operations
13. ⁠Unloading and storing safely all deliveries related to refrigeration
14. ⁠Inspects and accepts the refrigeration plant spares and consumables on delivery
15. ⁠Keep Safety related documents in a legible manner and in clear view
16. ⁠Maintain Electric panels and Distribution Boards in a safe and operating condition
17. ⁠Maintain control room and Scada panel in a safe manner
18. ⁠Periodically check the man-trap alarms, door heaters, drain heaters,door cooperating systems in Cold Storage and Ante Rooms,Ammonia leak detection systems and its panel. Report any abnormalities immediately
19. ⁠Adhere to IQFPL GMP practices and procedures, safety policy and Food Safety policy
20. ⁠Must be able to work at heights and must know basic electrical knowledge
21. ⁠Must be able to read and understand P& I diagrams and electrical wiring diagrams
