3335) Hardware Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in circuit design, proficiency in understanding datasheets, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including software engineers and PCB designers.

The Responsibilities of the engineer would include but not be limited to the below mentioned points:

1. Design and develop hardware circuits for embedded systems, with a focus on PIC or other microcontrollers and power electronic systems.
2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
3. Create schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
4. Perform component selection and procurement, ensuring compatibility and reliability.
5. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware components and firmware.
6. Work closely with PCB designers to ensure proper implementation of hardware designs.
7. Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware prototypes, diagnosing and resolving any issues.
8. Provide technical support during product development, manufacturing, and deployment phases.
9. Experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design software is desirable.
10. Knowledge about power electronic systems like rectifiers, inverters, UPS, SMPS, etc. is desirable.
11. Meet quality standards while maintaining working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices.
12. Familiarity with national and international design standards including but not limited to to UL, IEEE, NEC, MIL-STD-461, JSS55555, MIL-STD-810 and associated EMI-EMC standards is desirable.
13. Ensuring all technical documents are generated and reviewed in accordance with engineering process and program/customer contract deliverables.
14. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in hardware design methodologies and technologies.
